They seem to really care and they made my loved one feel comfortable and safe while I dealt with the money. It's a shame that the other aspects of this place are so horrendous. My mom was admitted for rehab after shoulder replacement. They let her blood oxygen level drop to 70 before calling an ambulance. When I went to retrieve her things they gave me someone else’s pajamas, some of her things; mostly toiletries. She had 2 rings worth over $7000 and they have disappeared.

This place claims to have a 3 of 5 rating but thats a joke. My IV infusions did not always occur and staff often could not or would not explain. On one ocassion an agency nurse attempted to give my highly toxic infusion to my roommate.

I have worked in many nursing homes throughout my life, and I feel like this place is the best for me and my family. They take good care of me and treat me with respect, and not just me, but all the residents here. I have a very big family that is very close with each other and Avante made it possible for them to throw me a big surprise party.
